Whistleblowing
Whistleblowing
Outlook Care is committed to the highest standards of probity, quality, openness and accountability.

We expect all staff to conform to these high standards and expect that employees/workers should feel able to voice concerns about any behaviour or practice which they believe, could compromise these standards.
We seek to safeguard the people we support from abuse or neglect, or suspected abuse, to prevent financial fraud and malpractice, corruption, bullying, harassment or victimisation in the workplace and other serious malpractice.
Our current whistleblowing policy can be downloaded via the following button.
Whistleblowing reporting procedure
This procedure below sets out the routes through which a protected disclosure can be made, who the disclosure is made to and what protections are afforded to the person making the disclosure.
Stage 1
In most cases you should be able to raise any concerns with your line manager. If for some reason this is not possible or, you reasonably believe that your line manager is involved in the wrongdoing, then you should proceed to stage 3.
Stage 2
The line manager should ensure that they make the Head of Locality/Home Manager or relevant Senior Manager aware of the concern and will agree a course of action with that Senior Manager.
Stage 3
If you are concerned about reporting and preceding under Stage 1 and 2 you should speak to another senior officer, the Chief Executive or a Director and ask for a confidential meeting
If the problem involves the Chief Executive or Directors of Outlook Care, you should contact one of the designated board members:
Laila Abraham or Peter Mills
