Personal Budgets
Personal Budgets are an allocation of money from local authorities to an individual to meet an assessed need.
If you are entitled to Social Care Services you will have an assessment. This will determine how much support you need. You can ask to have money as a Personal Budget to arrange care and support yourself.
The aim of Personal Budgets is to give you more choice and control over your care and support.
