The Accolades - a partnership between Skills for Care and the Department of Health - celebrate best practice in social care workforce development rewarding employers and organisations for their commitment to workforce development and innovation.

Outlook Care won 'Best employer of over 250 staff', sponsored by National Skills Academy (NSA).

The Accolades was first launched in 2003 to commend and celebrate best practice in social care workforce development, and since then it has grown to become a highlight of the social care event calendar.

This most prestigious Accolade is in recognition of Outlook Care’s combined hard work and commitment to it’s workforce and service users, and it reflects the high standard of services that Outlook Care provides.

To achieve certification, which was awarded following an audit of the organisation, Outlook Care was required to establish a robust environmental policy.

ISO:140001 is designed to help organisations minimise how their operations negatively affect the environment and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

At the same time, Outlook Care was upgraded to ISO 9001:2008 for our robust quality management systems. This certification, originally awarded to us in 1995, recognises organisations that work to increase customer satisfaction and those that have systems in place to ensure they continually improve.
