Outlook Care shines at Dagenham Town Show

Outlook Care staff were lucky enough to be invited to join the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham at this year’s Dagenham Town Show, on 17th-18th July.

Staff decided to share a stand at the show to promote our partnership working around personalisation – and in particular the remodelling project at one of our learning disability services at Raydons Road, Dagenham. Outlook Care and London Borough of Barking and Dagenham worked tirelessly together to de-register the service at Raydons Road, so that the people living there could have more choice and control over their lives. The two organisations also worked well together to ensure a smooth transition for service users and staff.

The joint stand was located in the Health and Wellbeing tent where Outlook Care Service Managers spent time talking to members of the public about Outlook Care's services, and came back with a number of enquiries to follow-up.

The event features a host of entertainment for all the family including the craft and trade village, funfair, rides, competitions and exhibitions from the Council and voluntary sector focusing on health and wellbeing across the borough.

Outlook Care were privileged to be invited to share a stand with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, and look forward to working in partnership again next year.
